This is my summary on M.J. DeMarco’s groundbreaking book titled as above. Please read my purpose : it is to get the insight by reviewing one of a richest men in the world . 

Slow Wealth Building Isn't Viable: Slow wealth building takes too much time. During that time, you could be doing things that generate income. The true golden age of life is when you're young, energetic, and full of vitality. You don't have to wait until your 60s or 70s to become wealthy; some people become wealthy in their 30s.

Money Grows Geometrically: Popularity and innate talent are not prerequisites for wealth. Making money quickly isn't about gradually accumulating; it's about growing geometrically. Change can happen in an instant.

Millionaires Are Made by Process, Not Events: Wealthy individuals have a perfect formula for becoming rich and know how to use it efficiently. Acquiring wealth is a series of processes, not a one-time event. To solve the formula for becoming wealthy, you need to understand the four elements that constitute it: Map, Vehicle, Road, and Speed.

1. ‘천천히 부자 되기’로는 가망이 없다

‘천천히 부자 되기’는 시간이 너무 많이 걸린다. 그 시간에 얼마든지 돈이 되는 일을 할 수 있다. 또한, 이는 당신의 시간을 소모시켜 실패하게 하는 게임이다. 인생의 진정한 황금기는 당신이 젊고 지각 있고 생기 넘칠 때다. 60-70대에만 부자가 될 수 있는 것은 아니다. 30대에도 부자가 된 사람도 존재한다. 

2. 돈은 기하급수적으로 벌어들이는 것이다

인기와 타고난 재능은 부의 필요조건이 아니다. 또한, 빠르게 돈을 번다는 것은 차근차근 모으는 것이 아니라 기하급수적으로 벌어들이는 것이다. 변화는 순간적으로 일어날 수 있다. 

3. 백만장자는 사건이 아니라 과정에 의해 만들어진다

자수성가한 부자들은 부자가 되기 위한 완벽한 공식이 있고, 이를 효율적으로 사용할 줄 안다. 부를 얻는 것은 하나의 사건이 아니라 일련의 과정이다. 부자가 되는 공식을 구성하는 4가지 요소를 알아야 풀 수 있다.

(1) 지도 : 부를 향해 나아갈 방향 인도다. 인도, 서행차선, 추월차선 (3가지로 나뉨)

(2) 차량 : 여행 과정에서 최대의 효율을 낼 수 있도록 계속 점검하고 정비해주어야 한다.

(3) 길 : 여행하는 재정적 진로다. 직업의 길을 여행한다면 제한적인 선택을 할 수 있다. 

(4) 속도 : 생각을 실행으로 옮기는 일이자 능력이다. 속도를 내지 않으면 방향을 잃고, 차는 멈추고, 기를 사방이 막힐 것이다.

부자가 되는 길에는 위험과 희생이 따른다. 그 과정을 견뎌 내는 소수만이 부자가 될 수 있다.
